The Point-of-Care subgroup is a partnership of people with a shared interest of providing rapid easy to use tests for TB that will improve access to treatment for the millions of people that contract the disease each year.
Our planned activities this year include:
A symposium 5th July in Porto, Portugal in conjunction with the European Society of Mycobacteriology.
A state of the art review of research on POC TB tests.
To enhance communication through an improved and more accessible website.
A meeting of the New Diagnostics Working Group is being planned for Cancun, Mexico for early December.
Suggestions and ideas for future activities are welcome, as are volunteers to assist with the work.
